iSpeedScan is designed to simplify document scanning while ensuring your privacy is protected. The app automatically detects documents and saves them securely, with all processing handled directly on your device.

Permissions & Data Handling

• Camera and Photo Gallery Access: iSpeedScan may request access to your camera to scan documents and to your photo gallery to save scanned images and PDFs. These permissions are used solely to enable the app’s core functionality.
• Mode Selection & Preferences: The app remembers your last-used scanning mode (Image or PDF) for convenience. However, no user preferences or settings are stored externally.
• Saving to Files If you choose to save scans to your device’s file system the app will request the necessary storage permissions. This is only used for saving files—you remain in full control of your documents.
• Client-Side Processing: All scanning, saving, and file management operations occur locally on your device. No scans, images, or PDFs are transmitted externally or stored within the app.
• No File Storage: Once a scan is saved, it is entirely under your control. You can manage, edit, share, or delete files using your device’s native tools. iSpeedScan does not retain copies of any scanned files.
• Location Services: iSpeedScan does not request, access, or utilize location services. Your geographic location is never collected, stored, or shared.
