Steven Albert is the Vice President of the Service Department at S. Albert Glass, a family-owned business founded in 1968 by his late grandfather, Stanley Albert. Alongside his full-time role helping lead the company, Steven also founded TevinEigh, where he developed & launched our flagship apps iSpeedScan and iSpeedPix2PDF, designed to be the most efficient tools in their category.

Working alongside his father, Michael Albert—President and Owner—Steven plays a key role in overseeing the company’s Glass & Door Service Department throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. Together, their leadership has helped grow the service department and manage high-profile commercial glazing projects ranging from tenant fit-outs and storefronts to lobby remodels.

As part of the next generation at S. Albert Glass, Steven has gained hands-on experience while steadily taking on greater leadership responsibilities, preparing to one day take the reins. That journey has deepened his understanding of the business, strengthened his leadership skills, and fueled his drive for continuous improvement.

While his main focus remains on the Service Department, Steven’s passion for innovation in the glazing industry led him to create GlaziersTool, a web-based platform built specifically for glaziers. Designed to connect the field, office, customers & vendors, GlaziersTool brings together job site details, measurements, photos, fabrication notes, vendor info, and installation documentation in one place. It eliminates the need for scattered texts, emails, and handwritten notes - making communication faster and more reliable. Though separate from TevinEigh, GlaziersTool reflects Steven’s ongoing commitment to solving real-world challenges through better tools.

In 2023, GlaziersTool entered into a partnership with Mainstreet Computers, a leading point-of-sale provider for the glass industry. Together, they aim to expand access to GlaziersTool and streamline operations for more glass professionals by combining Mainstreet’s technology with Steven’s field-driven insight.

Beyond technology, Steven is also developing the creative side of the business, working to grow S. Albert Glass’s Art Division (SAGAD) into a space for innovative, design-forward work. The work extends beyond glass, incorporating materials like metal, wood, and acrylic to create visually engaging installations. Whether it’s a large-scale lobby mural, a custom glass and wood conference table, or an intricate metal and glass wall panel, Steven’s creations blend art and function seamlessly. Direct-to-glass printing, combined with his exploration of diverse materials, has already begun to transform lobbies, office buildings, and hospitality spaces into immersive visual experiences. Fueled by his passion for craftsmanship and creativity, Steven is committed to expanding SAGAD’s reach and seeing this kind of glass and mixed-media art featured in corporate and public spaces worldwide.

TevinEigh began as a passion project rooted in Steven’s long-time interest in building digital tools. Over time, it’s grown into a platform for creating simple, effective apps that support everyday work and help streamline business workflows.

Outside of daily operations, Steven enjoys teaming up with other forward-thinkers, sharing ideas through industry groups, and finding new ways to merge technology and design to solve real-world problems.
